Simplified Rules for Teachers
Rules, circulars and procedures — in plain language
Short explainers on service matters, leave, professional responsibilities and education department circulars, always linked to the official document.
Important: these explainers are general information to help you understand official documents. They are not legal or service advice. Rules differ between central, state and private schools and change over time — always check the latest official notification, and consult your administration, union or a qualified adviser for your specific case.
Our standard for every explainer
Every rule-related article on Master Ji will clearly state:
- Jurisdiction — who it applies to (for example, central government employees, KVS, a particular state)
- Source — the official order, rule or circular, with a link
- Date — when it was issued, and when we last checked it
- Status — in force, amended, or superseded, wherever this can be verified
We never publish a circular, order or rule that we cannot link to an official source.

The first explainers are being prepared and checked against official sources. Tell us which rule or circular you want explained first using the form below.
